Pilot Company in Knoxville, TN is seeking an experienced Accountant to reconcile and adjust general ledger accounts, prepare financial reports, and support management with SOX-compliant controls.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and at least five years of accounting experience, with strong GAAP knowledge, Excel proficiency, and experience with GL systems. You will mentor staff and help deliver accurate, timely statements.

Qualificações

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.

Responsabilidades

• Perform general accounting activities including ledger and financial statements.
• Maintain SOX-compliant controls and processes.
• Prepare and analyze journal entries and reconciliations.
• Reconcile cash and transactional activity; validate bank reporting.
• Provide budgeting, forecasting, and variance analyses.
• Lead staff and review work; mentor junior accountants.
• Produce consolidated financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable policies.
