Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• CPA is required or actively pursued.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including technical accounting and financial reporting.
• Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience researching and documenting complex accounting issues and preparing technical memoranda.
• Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining accounting policies and procedures.
• Strong understanding of SOX/internal control frameworks and audit requirements.
• Experience partnering with external auditors and resolving technical accounting matters.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and communicate complex accounting concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Monitor regulatory and industry developments and assess impacts on policies and procedures.
• Communicate accounting policies, changes, and interpretations to stakeholders to gain cooperation.
