Job summary

DeWinter Group is seeking a Senior AR Consultant to own billing and accounts receivable operations across recurring, usage-based, pay-as-you-go, and prepaid models. This fully remote role supports accurate invoicing and reliable downstream revenue reporting.

You will collaborate with Revenue Accounting, Sales, Engineering, and Operations to manage high-volume inquiries, resolve issues, and contribute to month-end close.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive billing and collections experience in a SaaS or technology company.
• Experience managing end-to-end invoicing and collections activities.
• Experience supporting recurring, usage-based, pay-as-you-go, or prepaid billing models.
• Hands-on experience with billing platforms and automation tools such as NetSuite, Stripe, Salesforce CPQ.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret contracts and data.
• Experience with accounts receivable aging, collections coordination, and payment reconciliation.
• Ability to support month-end close activities including invoice verification and journal entries.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with SOX controls and process documentation.

Senior AR Consultant | Remote

Overview

Join a growing SaaS organization as a Senior AR Consultant and take ownership of critical billing and collections operations across recurring, usage-based, pay-as-you-go, and prepaid customer models. In this high-impact role, you’ll help maintain accurate invoicing, strengthen accounts receivable health, improve scalable workflows, and support reliable downstream revenue reporting.

Working closely with Revenue Accounting, Sales, Engineering, Operations, and customer-facing teams, you’ll manage high-volume billing inquiries, resolve account issues, support month-end close, and identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and system enhancements. The ideal candidate is an analytical, highly organized communicator who can work independently, prioritize competing requests, and confidently direct inquiries to the appropriate teams.

Required Skills

• Familiarity with AI adoption, automation initiatives, and workflow optimization
• Experience supporting new product launches, SKU creation, pricing models, or user acceptance testing
• Experience preparing allowance for doubtful accounts analyses, AR reporting, or write-off recommendations
• Ability to work independently and effectively direct incoming inquiries across internal teams
• Experience supporting an organization preparing for public-company readiness
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Preferred Education and Experience

• At least 3 years of progressive billing and collections experience in a SaaS or technology environment
• Relevant accounting, finance, or revenue operations experience preferred
• No specific educational credential is required

Other Requirements

• Worksite: Fully remote; candidates working Pacific Time or able to support Pacific Time business hours are preferred
• Engagement: Initial 2–3 month consulting assignment with potential for extension or conversion
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Revenue Accounting, Sales, Engineering, customer-facing teams, and Operations
• Strong ownership, follow-through, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to support billing and collections activities with accuracy, completeness, and sound judgment
