A healthcare billing company in the United States is seeking a Senior AR Caller to manage and resolve outstanding insurance claims. The ideal candidate must have 3–6+ years of experience in AR calling within the medical billing sector, possess strong communication skills, and a good understanding of coding systems (CPT, ICD, HCPCS). This role is in-office and requires the ability to work night shifts. Responsibilities include charge entry, claim submission, and denial management, ensuring compliance with billing regulations.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of experience in AR calling – medical billing (US healthcare).
• Experience in handling multiple specialties.
• Ability to work in night shifts.

Responsabilités

• Verify and update patient demographic information with 100% accuracy.
• Enter charges into the billing system, ensuring compliance.
• Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies.
• Monitor outstanding claims and accounts receivable.
• Follow up with insurance companies and patients on balances.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorizations.
• Post insurance and patient payments accurately.
• Review and resolve rejected or denied claims.
• Maintain accurate records of billing activities.
• Define KPIs and monitor the effectiveness of billing processes.
• Provide coaching to junior team members.

Connaissances

Excellent verbal communication skills (US accent preferred)

Good understanding of CPT, ICD, and HCPCS codes

Familiarity with insurance portals and billing software
