Job summary

Hyundai AutoEver America is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to strengthen security across the software lifecycle in Irvine, CA. You will define Secure SDLC requirements, manage hardened container images, and embed automated security testing into CI/CD pipelines.

You will partner with Engineering, Platform, and AppDev teams to ensure secure design and build practices, while driving vulnerability remediation and secure release decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Application Security with hands-on Secure SDLC implementation.
• Experience integrating SAST, DAST, and open-source vulnerability scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define Secure SDLC requirements and standards; embed automated security testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop, manage, and maintain a hardened cloud container image repository with baseline security requirements.
• Lead remediation of vulnerabilities and ensure timely closes within SLAs and timelines.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Platform, and AppDev teams to implement secure design and build practices.
