Job summary

Spring Health is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer II to expand its AppSec program. You will advance secure-by-design practices, mentor engineers, and contribute to AI-assisted threat modeling and Secure AI Development Lifecycle initiatives.

This is a fully remote role for US-based candidates, with occasional travel to NYC. You will help mature SAST, SCA, and DAST capabilities, review code, drive remediation workflows, and evaluate AI tooling to improve coverage and efficiency

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in application security or related field.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to secure-by-design practices within the S-SDLC program, including architecture reviews and guidance.
