Job summary

Cybersecurity Jobs is seeking an experienced Application Security leader to secure Arch Re applications and supporting operations. You will shape the application security SDLC, lead SAST/DAST/SCA efforts, and integrate security into modern architectures including containers and AI-enabled services.

Responsibilities include defining security guardrails, guiding threat modeling, and delivering metrics to demonstrate risk reduction and program maturity.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent
• 5+ years of cybersecurity with hands-on app security
• Experience with AI-native products security reviews
• Experience threat modeling and secure architecture reviews
• Strong in deploying and operating DAST tools and CI/CD integration
• Experience with SAST and SCA; cloud Azure & AWS

Responsibilities

• Use application development, deployment, and security experience to guide Application Security strategy and secure the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Configure and improve AppSec tooling and integrations, including SAST configuration, ignore lists, dashboards, and other controls to maintain coverage
• Lead API, Container, and Application Security testing including DAST and other validation capabilities
• Develop strategies to secure current and emerging technologies (containers, serverless, API, AI/ML)
• Embed AI-specific security checks into SDLC reviews and code analysis, including input/output handling and prompt guardrails
• Provide hands-on engineering support for security incidents, threat events, vulnerability management, and control improvements
• Collect and report metrics from Application Security solutions to deliver insights on coverage and risk reduction
• Create and maintain technical standards and documentation for Application Security services
• Deliver technical training to development and cloud engineering teams on secure development practices
• Implement, optimize, and operationalize Application Security solutions to improve risk visibility and developer adoption
• Drive automation that improves developer experience and align security with business goals
• Stay current on emerging Application Security trends to enhance Arch Re’s security posture
