Amazon Science is seeking an Applied Scientist to join a Special Projects team that pushes Think Big to new frontiers. You will work at the intersection of machine learning and life sciences to create new products that positively impact customers.

You will collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product managers in an open, entrepreneurial environment, contributing to research, models, and product-ready solutions that scale.

Qualifications

• PhD in engineering, technology, computer science, ML, robotics, OR statistics or equivalent.
• 5+ years building ML models for business applications.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop ML-driven products for customers at scale.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product managers across teams.
• Create and bring models from research to production-ready solutions.
