Amazon.com Services LLC seeks an Applied Scientist to develop products at the intersection of machine learning and the life sciences. You will contribute to building scalable solutions that impact customers while embracing an entrepreneurial, startup-like environment.

You will collaborate with diverse scientists, engineers, and product managers to bring research advances to market and iterate rapidly in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• PhD in engineering, technology, computer science, machine learning, robotics, operations research, statistics, mathematics or equivalent quantitative field.
• 5+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning.

As a Applied Scientist at the intersection of machine learning and the life sciences, you will participate in developing exciting products for customers. Basic Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
