Job summary

The Trade Desk is hiring a data-focused scientist who will own the research, design, and delivery of data-driven measurement solutions for retail conversion data. You will work with engineering, product, and analytics teams to build robust pipelines and analytics that scale across large datasets.

You will apply advanced statistical methods, perform data quality checks, and communicate insights to stakeholders to guide product decisions in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in a quantitative field with strong foundation in statistics and measurement error.
• Experience building data pipelines end-to-end and owning projects from research to production.
• Ability to reason about data biases and provide honest error bounds in estimates.

Responsibilities

• Own retail conversion datasets end-to-end and ensure data integrity across sources.
• Build datasets and pipelines from multiple retail sources to support downstream measurement.
• Apply rigorous statistics to scale and project measurement numbers and impute missing data.
• Monitor data quality and the stability of metrics, distinguishing real shifts from noise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate findings into robust product decisions.
