Audible is seeking a Senior Applied Scientist to solve large-scale problems in ML, NLP, GenAI, and distributed systems. You will design and deliver production-ready models, work with engineers and product teams, and mentor other scientists.

The role emphasizes research leadership, collaboration, and impactful product-level outcomes. You will push advances in AI/GenAI, author publications, and help shape Audible’s scientific agenda while driving practical, customer-focused solutions across

Qualifications

• PhD or Master's with substantial research experience in ML/CS/related field.
• 5+ years of research experience in ML, NLP, GenAI, RL or related domains.
• 5+ years of experience deploying ML/AI models in production.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and at least one compiled language.
• Experience delivering scientific solutions into production systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of end-to-end scientifically complex solutions.
• Produce production-ready models across ML/AI/NLP and GenAI domains.
• Mentor and develop other scientists and lead science reviews.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to scale solutions.
• Publish peer-reviewed research and drive the team’s scientific agenda.
• Define system-level requirements and contribute critical-path code.
