Audible is seeking a Senior Applied Scientist to tackle large-scale problems across ML, NLP, GenAI, and distributed systems. You will design and productionize complex models that power audio storytelling experiences for millions of users, collaborating with engineers and product teams.

The role emphasizes building reusable scientific components, mentoring other scientists, and driving innovation with state-of-the-art techniques in a production environment.

Qualifications

• PhD plus 5+ years of research experience or a Master’s degree plus 10+ years of research experience in ML, CS, Data Science or related field.
• We are looking for senior expertise in DL, NLP, GenAI, andRL with production experience.
• Experience delivering science solutions into production systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand complex, ambiguous use cases and design scalable ML/AI solutions.
• Work with scientists and engineers to productionize models for product features.
• Lead design, development, and deployment of end-to-end scientific solutions.
• Drive initiatives using recent ML/AI/GenAI advances and publish findings.
