Amazon Inc. is hiring a Senior Applied Scientist for the AWS Neuron Science Core Algorithm team. The role blends ML research with hardware-aware design for Trainium and Inferentia, enabling end-to-end development from research to production.

You will publish findings, work with distinguished engineers, and contribute to strategic growth in AWS accelerators. Collaboration across ML, software, and hardware teams is essential.

Formación

• PhD or Master's with 6+ years of applied research experience.
• Proficient in Python, C++, and Java.
• 3+ years building ML models for business use.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning.

Responsabilidades

• Own scientific problems end-to-end from research through production impact.
• Develop production-quality code in PyTorch or JAX and integrate components into large-scale training/inference systems.
• Partner with foundation-model, engineering, and hardware teams to inform Trainium and product stack.
• Mentor fellow scientists and interns, provide peer reviews, help set team goals and roadmap.
• Publish research at top venues and engage the wider scientific community.
