Job summary

Glean is hiring for a senior role focused on building and optimizing data experimentation and AI-driven measurement across our product suite. You will work with product data science, engineering, and design to drive rigorous evaluations, scalable deployments, and measurable improvements.

We expect deep expertise in statistics and ML, fluency in Python, and a track record of delivering business-ready data tooling in a B2B SaaS context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with a Masters degree; 3+ years with a PhD in a quantitative field.
• Strong background in statistics and/or machine learning with business impact.
• Proficiency in Python for maintaining scalable libraries.
• Clear and precise written and verbal communication; strong technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product data science and engineering to improve online A/B experimentation across product domains.
• Develop and maintain our A/B experimentation platform based on stakeholder feedback.
• Write code or source vendors to deploy techniques to production in a scalable, user-friendly way for cross-functional teams.
• Conduct end-to-end evaluation of hero use cases like document/URL uploads and evaluation criteria interpretation.
• Break down evaluations into granular tasks such as content summarization, multi-step reasoning, tool selection, and system design.
• Design, develop, and own best practices across evaluation problems, including query intent classification and statistical handling of LLM stochasticity.
