Teachstone seeks a Senior Software Engineer, Applied AI to turn prioritized AI opportunities into secure, reliable, responsible, and scalable production capabilities. You will advance AI-assisted software development and contribute to responsible AI practices across engineering.

The role emphasizes translating AI principles into system requirements, designing scalable architectures, and guiding model choices to balance value, risk, and cost.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience taking applied-AI capabilities from experimentation into production, including model integration and monitoring.
• Ability to explain technical choices in terms of customer value, quality, cost, risk, and maintainability.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and ability to learn others.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, prototyping, implementation, deployment, and operation of secure, scalable AI-enabled products and tools.
• Translate responsible AI principles into system requirements and engineering practices.
• Define reusable architectures and patterns to enable sustainable AI-enabled systems.
