Meet Life Sciences Ltd. in New York City is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff, Applied AI to own the technical direction of production AI systems. You will shape architecture across retrieval, generation, verification, and evaluation and lead reliability and deployment efforts.

You will build evaluation frameworks for complex datasets, ensure grounding and provenance, and influence product and technical strategy as the company scales.

Formación

• Significant experience building, shipping, and owning ML/LLM systems in production.
• Deep technical understanding of modern LLM applications, including retrieval and agentic architectures.
• Strong instinct for evaluation and experience developing metrics to understand complex model behavior.
• Strong Python engineering skills from experiments to deployed systems.
• Experience building reliable production infrastructure around AI/ML systems.
• Strong communicator able to work across Engineering, Product, and leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Own the technical direction of production LLM and agentic systems.
• Architect systems across retrieval, generation, verification, and evaluation.
• Develop sophisticated evaluation frameworks for AI problems where ground truth is complex or slow to obtain.
• Build systems that maintain grounding and provenance across complex datasets.
• Connect AI outputs with real-world performance data to improve system quality.
• Identify and measure behavioural regressions as models and prompts evolve.
• Evaluate approaches across RAG, agents, prompting, and fine-tuning.
• Own production reliability across testing, monitoring, versioning, and deployment.
• Influence architecture and product decisions while shaping the technical team as the company scales.
