Job summary

Arlyn AI in New York City is seeking a Principal / Senior Data Scientist to drive AI-powered insights for life science collaborations. You will own end-to-end LLM applications, turning unstructured data into actionable ontologies and strategies that impact drug launches and access.

You’ll work across AI, data science, and healthcare, partnering with founders to shape product direction, build scalable AI systems, and improve performance through rapid experimentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in CS, Computational Biology, Statistics, or related field.
• PhD in a quantitative field with 2+ years of industry experience.
• Strong problem-solving and data modeling abilities.
• Hands-on experience building AI applications and LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end development and deployment of agentic LLM applications that deliver measurable business impact.
• Design, build, evaluate, and ship production-ready AI systems from prototype to production.
• Partner with founders to define product direction and turn business problems into AI solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering to build scalable AI infrastructure, system architecture, and internal tools.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and user experience through rapid experimentation and iteration.
