HR Professionals is seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of Senior Applications Programmer to work with the State of Louisiana. This role offers 100% remote work and involves architecture, design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade applications. The engagement spans five years, from October 21, 2024 to June 30, 2029.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of web applications using C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, SQL Server, and HTML.
• Maintain and support existing applications through QA reviews and testing.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum team meetings and design sessions.
• Mentor State personnel with technical knowledge transfer, training, and documentation.
• Monitor and improve performance of replacement software.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework.
• 2+ years of experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years recent experience with .NET 5+, VueJS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, SQL Server, IIS, SOA/Microservices, DevOps (CI/CD), monitoring/observability platforms.
