Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking an Applications Engineer – Industrial Fluid & Water Treatment for the Rochester, MN area. Base salary $75,000–$125,000, with uncapped commissions, vehicle allowance, and full corporate benefits.

This direct-hire, field-oriented role combines engineering problem solving with sales responsibilities, covering SE Minnesota. You will evaluate water chemistry, design automated dosing and treatment systems, and manage full sales cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
• 3+ years of technical B2B sales or consultative engineering.
• Industrial water treatment chemistry, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, or fluid handling.
• Proven track record of meeting sales goals and expanding territory.
• Willingness for regular daily field travel within SE Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical consultant and Territory Manager for SE Minnesota.
• Conduct technical field assessments for manufacturing plants and industrial sites.
• Evaluate water chemistry metrics and fluid dynamics to design treatment systems.
• Collaborate with facility leaders to engineer upgrades and protocols.
• Guide the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and growth.
