SiTime Corp. is seeking a Senior Staff Applications Engineer to lead an internal team in helping customers use PLL-based timing products. You will guide engineers and customers in lab measurement techniques for high-speed signals and ensure the best performance from configurations.

The role emphasizes mentoring, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on support. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in measuring high-speed signals, phase noise and jitter, and familiarity with lab

Qualifications

• Knowledge of advanced techniques for measuring high speed signals.
• Understanding of differential termination schemes for clock signals.
• Familiar with phase noise and RMS jitter as it relates to timing signals.
• Ability to review layout and make recommendations to improve signal integrity and jitter performance.
• Experience with timing IC devices and lab automation using Python.
• Basic EVB soldering rework.
• Familiar with common schematic capture tools for design and reviews.
• Experience with customer support via in-person and email/web tools for ICs.
• Excellent time management and multitasking between projects.
• Proficient English for professional communication.
