Seven Seas Water Group is seeking an Applications Engineer to lead the technical aspects of our industrial Water-as-a-Service (iWaaS) business. You’ll translate influent and effluent requirements into a complete treatment flowsheet, mass balance, PFD, and design basis, and price the job from the ground up, working with origination and business development teams.

You’ll own supplier scoping, bid evaluations, and the operating cost model, ensuring credible guarantees and lifecycle value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• 10+ years in industrial water and wastewater treatment in an applications, process, or proposal engineering role
• Direct experience with industrial clients and their waste streams across industries
• Demonstrated command of major unit operations: biological, physical/chemical, membranes, oxidation/disinfection, PFAS, dewatering
• Working supplier network across these technologies
• Experience writing equipment scopes of work and negotiating guarantees with suppliers
• Ground-up estimating: PFD development, equipment sizing, capital estimating from pricing, operating cost estimation
• Strong communicator credible in front of customers, suppliers, and executives
• PE license desired; experience with DBOO/DBOOM, Water-as-a-Service contracts, and piloting or treatability studies a plus

Responsabilités

• Translate customer influent and effluent requirements into a complete treatment flowsheet, mass balance, PFD, and design basis
• Own ownership of design factors including reliability, lifecycle cost, and energy consumption
• Push for innovative, compact, cost-effective solutions and be explicit about guarantees
• Leverage the full treatment toolbox including membranes and PFAS treatment
• Own supplier side: write scopes of work, structure supplier agreements, lead bid evaluations
• Price jobs from the ground up and build capital estimates from supplier pricing
• Develop the operating cost basis and ensure credible proposals and exceptions
