Job summary

Parker Hannifin’s IGFG division seeks a technical sales/engineering professional to understand customer applications and assist with pollution control system design. You will train customers, support the sales team, and oversee product installation to drive growth across divisions.

The role interfaces with engineering, operations and sales, and requires travel to customer sites. Strong technical communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering technology or a related field.
• 5–7 years in Sales, Field Service, Manufacturing or Engineering.
• Understanding of financial statements and analysis.
• PC literate (MS Office, Lotus Notes preferred).
• Excellent mechanical comprehension and ability to discuss technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Manage large customers by building relationships with customers’ key technical and operations team members.
• Provide technical assistance to Parker sales team and customers including troubleshooting of operational problems in customer dust collection systems and identifying suitable filtration products.
• Assist design and manufacturing teams in developing or revising products per customer requirements.
• Provide technical expertise on products to close final sales and generate reports on findings.
• Provide technical training to customers and distributors in Division products.
• Assist with quoting and oversight of filtration product installation contractors.
• Maintain knowledge of competitive products and report market intelligence regularly.
