Job summary

Gradian Thermal Solutions, headquartered in Maple Grove, MN, is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to design and implement Direct Exchange geothermal and thermal energy systems for residential, commercial, and industrial markets. You will act as the technical liaison among customers, sales, engineering, and operations, developing cost-effective heating and cooling solutions.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering Degree is required.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial air handling industry sales and/or design.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in 2D CAD and MS Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure DX geothermal and thermal energy systems based on project requirements.
• Perform heating and cooling load calculations, energy analyses, and equipment sizing.
• Review project specifications and bid documents for technical compliance.
• Provide technical sales support during meetings and prepare proposals and BOMs.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and installation teams through project execution.
