Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• 8–10 years’ experience in oil and gas, preferably natural gas compression.
• Understanding of ASME, API, ISO, EPA, and related standards.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, SAP and OEM sizing programs.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Customer service oriented with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Size gas compression equipment using OEM performance software and recommend units.
• Advise forecasted sales activity to Make Ready and Engineering management.
• Analyze operating conditions, evaluate idle units, and identify sales opportunities.
• Review unit designs and recommend package design changes.
• Prepare quotes with engine pedigrees for account managers.
• Create and manage unit design specifications with other departments.
• Assist with make-ready and reconfiguration cost development.
• Provide equipment performance recommendations to Operations.
• Lead and guide junior applications engineers as needed.
