Job summary

Calgon Carbon Corporation, a Kuraray Company, is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer at its Moon Township, PA headquarters with remote opportunities. This role supports carbon, equipment, and service sales across domestic and international markets.

You will work closely with Equipment Engineering, R&D, Product Management and Sales to justify activated carbon technology in customer applications. The position offers incentives, hybrid schedules, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Lead technical support for the sale of carbon, equipment, and service.
• Interface with Engineering, R&D, Product Management and Sales to provide technical justification for activated carbon technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies with Director/Sales to expand base business and opportunities.
• Review results, troubleshoot variances, adjust strategy as needed.
• Provide technical leadership for CCC global initiatives and cross‑segment groups.
• Collaborate with CCC regional teams on multi‑territory projects.
• Serve as liaison between Sales and internal support teams.
• Review bid specs for clarity, accuracy, and risk in the bid process.
• Represent Calgon Carbon as a technical contact to customers when needed.
• Attend industry forums and technical conferences to stay current.
