Job summary

CSG Talent is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to join its commercial engineering team. This remote-friendly role supports customers with advanced water, wastewater and environmental treatment solutions across municipal and industrial markets.

The successful candidate will develop treatment solutions, prepare technical proposals and support projects from concept through implementation, collaborating with Business Development, Project Management and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Applications/Process Engineering or Technical Sales Support within water/environmental sectors.
• Strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes.
• Experience developing technical proposals and supporting customer-facing activities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop process and treatment solutions for municipal and industrial water and wastewater applications.
• Prepare technical proposals, process designs, equipment recommendations and cost estimates.
• Perform process calculations, mass balances, hydraulic calculations and equipment sizing.
• Provide technical support to the Business Development team throughout the sales process.
• Participate in customer meetings, technical presentations and project reviews.
• Support pilot studies, commissioning activities and project start-up when required.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and project management teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, specifications and conference presentations.
• Evaluate customer requirements and develop practical, cost-effective treatment solutions.
