Job summary

Citi in Pune (Hybrid) is seeking an Applications Development Senior Analyst to lead architecture, design, and full-stack development of scalable applications using Java/Spring Boot microservices and React frontends.

You'll work with Oracle/SQL and MongoDB databases, containerized deployments with Docker/Kubernetes/ECS, and explore GenAI integrations to automate workflows.

This role requires 8-12 years of experience, strong communication, and mentoring capabilities; a Bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of professional software development experience in full-stack and distributed systems.
• Proven track record designing, building, and deploying enterprise-grade Spring Boot microservices and React.js web applications.
• Strong hands-on experience in containerized deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex architectural and business problems and deliver scalable solutions.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Backend & Microservices: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices and RESTful APIs using Java (8/11/17+), Spring Boot.
• Frontend Engineering: Build responsive SPAs using React.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and state management.
• Database Design & Management: Model and optimize Oracle/SQL and MongoDB databases for performance and consistency.
• GenAI Integration: Implement GenAI capabilities into workflows and business applications.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC.
