Job summary

Citi in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst (C12) to contribute to the design, development and deployment of key applications in coordination with the Technology team.

This on-site role requires 5–8 years’ experience in systems analysis and programming, plus project management skills, the ability to work under pressure, and the capacity to coach junior analysts while ensuring compliance with Citi’s standards; a Bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and programming.
• Experience in managing and implementing projects.
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines or changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies, time/cost estimates, IT planning, risk analysis, and develop/modify applications to meet business needs.
• Monitor and control all phases of the development lifecycle and provide user/operational support.
• Analyze complex problems and propose advanced programming solutions and evaluate processes.
• Develop security measures in post-implementation reviews to ensure system integrity.
• Consult with users/clients and other technology groups to address issues and propose solutions.
• Define operating standards and act as advisor to junior analysts and teammates.
