Job summary
Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Systems Application Analyst to elicit, prioritize, and translate business requirements into detailed system designs. You will support production applications and contribute to complex initiatives, delivering clear and traceable technical designs aligned with business needs.
The role focuses on delivering solutions for an external Employer Portal, collaborating with analysts, designers, and developers to balance usability and performance while ensuring project
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
- 5+ years of experience in related field.
- In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.
Responsibilities
- Quickly understand larger and/or more complex business issues and data challenges of the customer.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information.
- Translate business/functional requirements into system level functional solutions using interviews, workshops, analyses, and demos.
- Coordinate development of functional design specs, GUI and screen interface designs for internal applications.
- Identify required system changes and conduct gap analyses with input from technical staff.
- Collaborate with analysts, designers, developers and SMEs to analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance.
