AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to strengthen secure coding and DevSecOps across engineering teams in Dallas. You will deploy and tune SAST, DAST, and IAST tools, perform threat modeling, and integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires hands-on security experience with Python, JavaScript, or Java and AWS, strong communication, and a collaborative approach to improve security without slowing product delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Application Security experience in a modern software-development environment (4+ years).
• Experience reading Python/JavaScript/Java code.
• Deep experience with SAST/DAST tools and threat modeling.
• Experience integrating security into CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Deploy SAST/DAST/IAST tools and tune them.
• Perform threat modeling to identify threat vectors.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish security metrics across teams.
• Develop automation to improve security gains and speed up delivery.
• Document and maintain security processes and documentation.
