Job summary

Amazon Security is seeking an Application Security Engineer to analyze and improve the security of applications, services, and websites across cloud platforms. You will drive reviews, threat modeling, and security testing while advancing automation and secure development practices.

You will mentor junior engineers, participate in planning and security initiatives, and contribute to documentation and security metrics across teams in a fast-paced environment in Austin.

Qualifications

• 3+ years across at least 5 security domains: app security, code reviews, incident response, security infra, pentesting, mobile/cloud/AI security, or identity controls.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Scripting and programming experience with a common language; security code reviews.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
