Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a skilled software engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise data solutions across claims, authorizations, and member data. You will optimize SQL Server stored procedures and ETL processes, while maintaining the in-house letter application that produces Word documents and PDFs.

The role requires 4–6 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field, with SAFe preferred.

Equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.

Responsibilities

Designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions across the data lifecycle.
Create, optimize, and re-engineer SQL Server objects and ETL processes for data staging and transformation.
Own and maintain the in-house letter application and related Word/PDF generation components.
Develop and support SSIS packages for ETL, file processing, and document conversion workflows.
Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs and perform data analysis and production support.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including designs, data flows, and support procedures.
