Job summary

Osaic is seeking an hands-on Application Engineering Team Lead to design, develop, and deliver advisor-facing applications. You will mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive architectural decisions, while collaborating with product and compliance teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

The role requires deep expertise in C#/.NET, Angular, SQL Server, and Azure, and a track record of leading distributed teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of application development experience, including at least 2 years leading projects and teams.
• Experience with C#/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, REST API design, dependency injection, and service-oriented architecture; hands-on recent experience.
• Strong SQL Server skills including stored procedures, query performance, and schema design.
• Angular 18+ fluency sufficient to meaningfully review component design, reactive forms, and TypeScript.
• Full-stack credibility – able to move between backend and frontend without losing the thread.
• Azure development – working knowledge of App Service, SQL Database, and Service Bus; cloud‑native patterns, ADO, CI/CD pipelines.
• Scaled Agile experience at the enterprise level and minimum 3 years’ experience with Agile Software development at the enterprise level.
• Project and people leadership experience. Effective Communicator, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team as player-coach; review pull requests, contribute to architectural decisions, diagnose production issues, mentor engineers.
• Work closely with Product, other technology teams, Compliance, and Operations to provide best in class software design and delivery.
• Lead Scaled Agile delivery across a distributed team including offshore resources and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Support production stability of the application, diagnose issues, and drive proactive resolutions.
• Manage vendors and offshore partners against quality standards and delivery commitments.
• Create Software Architecture documentation and adhere to Enterprise Standards.
