Position Purpose

Designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions. Collaborates closely with technical and non-technical roles such as data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to provide design, technical analysis, development/configuration, testing, implementation, and support expertise representing the interest of the business across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

1. Builds data pipelines and assists with merging existing pipelines/portals with current ones.
2. Develops or prototypes software modules at various levels of complexity, including service interfaces, process flows, service messages, SOA components, business logic, UI/UX, or data access logic.
3. Designs, develops, tests, and deploys software solutions and process flows complying with standards, guidelines, and best practices.
4. Identifies, assesses, and formulates architectural impacts and solutions from business requirements.
5. Collaborates to ensure application designs utilize appropriate patterns and standards.
6. Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility within time and cost constraints, including effort estimation.
7. Assesses functional and nonfunctional requirements and creates designs to meet both business and technical needs.
8. Creates conceptual and detailed technical design documents and updates them as needed in collaboration with the business.
9. Identifies and resolves problems proactively, evaluating options and implementing solutions.
10. Utilizes and contributes to application coding techniques and standards.
11. Collaborates with Application Solution Architects, IS Business Analysts, and other technical resources on application delivery.
12. Participates in tier 3 application support activities, including incident management and application upgrades.
13. Performs other duties as assigned and ensures compliance with policies and standards.

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) with 4–6 years of related experience, or equivalent experience demonstrating applicable knowledge and skills.

Technical Skills

Additional Information

Pay Range: $85,300.00 - $158,100.00 per year
