Job summary

University of Michigan Information and Technology Services invites applications for an Application Developer Senior on the Enterprise Applications Services team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining enterprise systems, collaborating with analysts and other teams to deliver reliable solutions in a hybrid work environment in Ann Arbor, MI.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and hands-on experience with C#, JavaScript, XML, .NET Core/.NET, MVC, MS SQL Server, Oracle, and REST/JSON

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, business computing or related field.
• Experience applying technical tools for daily administration, root-cause analysis and restoration.
• Programming experience with C#, JavaScript, XML.
• Experience with .NET Core, .NET and MVC frameworks; MS SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, JSON).
• 5+ years in related roles and DevOps proficiency is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team and service groups to resolve incidents and enhancements; monitor availability and performance.
• Develop customer-focused solutions using technical design skills and internal relationships.
• Work with business analysts to formulate requirements and advise on solutions.
• Align with standards and deploy changes; perform development, automation, configuration, and maintenance.
