Job summary

University of Michigan's Information and Technology Services (ITS) is seeking an Application Developer Senior to join the Enterprise Applications Services (EAS) team. The role supports development, maintenance, and integration of enterprise applications in a hybrid or remote-friendly environment, at the department's discretion.

Ideal candidates will have strong C#, JavaScript, XML skills, and experience with .NET Core, MVC, SQL Server, Oracle, and web services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, business computing or related field.
• Experience with C#, JavaScript, XML and software development life cycle.
• Proficiency with .NET Core/.NET MVC and SQL Server/Oracle databases.
• Experience with REST, SOAP and JSON web services.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with team members to resolve incidents, enhancement requests and fixes.
• Develops customer-focused solutions using technical design skills and cross-group relationships.
• Works with business system analysts to formulate requirements and advise on solutions.
• Aligns with application standards and procedures, such as deploying changes.
• Assignments include development, automation, configuration, customization, troubleshooting, upgrades, integration and maintenance.
