Job summary

Mount Indie is seeking a Senior Application Developer to serve as a Foundational Services SME supporting mission applications and foundational services for the DIA. You will mentor mid-level developers, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the services that keep mission systems operating effectively.

This is a hybrid role with SCIF support at DIA HQ locations in the Washington, DC area. You’ll work across the application stack using TypeScript, Node.js, and modern data stores.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree at minimum; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Proficient with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with SQL/PostgreSQL and ORM familiarity.
• Experience with JSON, XML, SharePoint, Java, JavaScript, VBA, Oracle, MongoDB, Solr, and OpenAI/AI technologies is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor mid-level developers on complex tasks.
• Serve as SME for Foundational Services and mission applications.
• Troubleshoot across the application stack and diagnose issues from server logs to front-end.”
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of foundational services that support mission systems.

What You’ll Bring

• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly is preferred. For the right candidate, an active TS/SCI without a CI Poly may be sufficient. Candidates with Poly credentials will be prioritized.

Location

This is a hybrid position with SCIF support at DIA HQ in Washington, DC, Reston, VA, or College Park, MD.

A recent CI Poly is preferred, and an immediate start may be possible.
