Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field plus 3 years of recent relevant experience.
• Or 1 year at Los Angeles County Application Developer II level.
• Or 4 years of recent, full-time, paid experience coding, testing and debugging applications.
• Accredited institutions recognized by NACES/AICE are acceptable.
• Recent means within the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Codes, tests, and debugs complex applications and interfaces.
• Develops work plans and technical documents for system changes.
• Develops specifications for complex systems.
• Performs unit, modular, and integration testing.
• Writes ETL programs to load data for system conversions.
• Reviews vendor performance and ensures on-time delivery.
• Assists in installation of application software and project leadership.
• Develops functional requirements and solicitation documents.
