Responsibilities

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Application Developer / Technical Lead to provide technical leadership and hands‑on development across a portfolio of enterprise customer service applications. This is a contract‑to‑hire opportunity for a senior full‑stack developer who can manage multiple applications, lead technical initiatives, and collaborate effectively with both onshore and offshore development resources.

The role will have an approximate 70% technical leadership / 30% hands‑on development focus. The selected candidate will typically oversee 2-3 applications simultaneously, helping drive new enhancements, application modernization, production support, and ongoing technology upgrades.

The environment is centered around Java, Angular, RESTful APIs/web services, Google Cloud Platform, and modern full‑stack development. Additional platforms include Genesys and Appian. The organization is also investing in AI initiatives utilizing technologies such as Google Gemini, making AI development knowledge a valuable differentiator.

The position follows a hybrid schedule with onsite work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership across multiple enterprise applications, typically managing priorities across 2-3 applications simultaneously.

Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
Follow established Agile methodology and Software Development Life Cycle processes.
Maintain technical documentation and ensure applications adhere to development, security, architecture, and operational standards.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
5+ years of professional full‑stack application development experience.
Strong hands‑on development experience with Java.
Strong experience with Angular and modern front‑end development.
Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
