Job summary

Gainwell Technologies in the United States is seeking an experienced application architect to drive architecture, cost efficiency and cross-functional collaboration across product teams. You will design integrated modules, coordinate with developers and vendors, and lead transitions from development to support while upholding architectural standards. The role emphasizes leadership, lifecycle discipline and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering, computer science or related field preferred.
• Nine or more years of application architecture and/or product development experience.
• Experience with software systems, applications and network markets.
• Experience with mainframes, scheduling software and related technologies.
• Experience with the software development life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Conducts technical research, testing, evaluation and documentation of hosting/configuration tools and methodologies.
• Creates application architectures and matrices with strategies, timelines, and cost information.
• Coordinates with developers, managers and customer experts to include features in releases.
• Designs modules that work together to meet functionality and performance guidelines.
• Plans technical support infrastructure and transitions from development to support.
• Provides high-level analysis and design reviews to avoid duplication of effort.
• Works with third party vendors to integrate applications into products.
• Develops architectural requirements with product development teams to satisfy clients.
