Job description

Trigyn's direct client based out of Louisiana has a very long-term REMOTE opportunity for an Application Architect. The particulars of the position are as follows.

Description:

The department is looking for a consultant who can serve as an architect for an organization, providing suggestions, solutions, and reviews of current and new systems being developed. Ideally, this person will come from a hands-on, technical background, knowing how to do the work of the teams they are working with. This person will work closely with other architects throughout the department to serve as a review of systems that they are working with, to ensure that standards are being upheld across the organization.

Mandatory Expertise and/or Relevant Experience:

1. 10+ years of relevant work experience delivering enterprise customer-facing solutions
2. 6+ years of relevant work experience designing and building enterprise-class distributed systems
3. 6+ years of relevant work experience in highly regulated industries
4. Experience with the .NET framework, public cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud), private data center environments, and Automation/Continuous Integration (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, etc.)
5. Experience in SDLC including associated deployment methodologies, QA processes, and performance tuning efforts
6. Previous Infrastructure/System Engineering experience in heterogeneous environments
7. Expert level technical skill in one or more technology disciplines (.NET core application design; DevOps, high availability solutions)
8. Recent experience leading the technical design of distributed systems or other complex projects

Desirable Areas:

1. Architect level certifications for one or more technical disciplines (Windows, Linux, Cloud, Networking, or Security)
2. Previous experience with Department of Public Safety applications and systems.
