Descripción de la vacante

MMD Services Inc. is seeking a hands-on leader to own the application architecture as we consolidate our portfolio and move data from on-prem SQL Server to Snowflake, with Power BI across the business.

You will run a small internal development group plus two outside dev partners, set the architecture direction, and decide what gets consolidated, rebuilt, retired, or brought back in-house. This is a build role with a seat close to the top.

• 5+ years building production software, including time as an architect, lead, or manager.
• Strong C# and .NET background, with real application architecture experience.
• Experience modernizing, consolidating, or replatforming legacy applications.
• Hands-on use of AI coding tools in a working environment, and a point of view on where they help and where they do not.
• Comfortable presenting to VP and executive audiences and working without a detailed roadmap handed to you.
• Able to work onsite in Glenview 4 days per week.

Responsabilidades

• Own application architecture across the portfolio and drive the consolidation strategy.
• Lead a small internal development team and manage two third-party development vendors.
