Job summary

Groundswell is seeking a Senior Performance Test Engineer with Appian experience to support performance testing for a federal program. You will execute performance strategies, validate scalability, and ensure throughput targets are met while collaborating with stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in performance testing, including Appian apps, and possess strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of performance testing in complex enterprise environments.
• 1+ years hands-on performance testing Appian applications.
• 3+ years in a technical consulting or client-facing role.
• Experience designing and executing performance test plans and scripts.
• Proficiency with performance testing tools (JMeter, Groovy).
• Understanding of response time, throughput, concurrency, resource usage.
• Experience analyzing performance data and root-cause analysis.
• SQL queries and stored procedures experience.
• Knowledge of data objects and data architecture.
• Experience gathering throughput and SLA requirements from stakeholders.
• Appian logs and system diagnostics skills.
• Mentoring junior engineers.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in regulated environments; federal experience a plus.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
