Job summary

Groundswell is seeking a Performance Test Engineer with Appian experience to support performance testing for a federal program. You will execute performance strategies, validate scalability, and ensure the application meets performance and throughput requirements.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in performance testing, and the ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in performance testing in complex enterprise environments.
• 1+ years of hands-on performance testing Appian applications (preferred).
• 3+ years in a technical consulting or client-facing role.
• Experience designing, developing, and executing performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios with results analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Groovy).
• Strong understanding of performance metrics (response time, throughput, concurrency, resource utilization).
• Experience analyzing performance data and identifying root causes across app, database, and infrastructure layers.
• Proficiency in SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Knowledge of data objects and data architecture.
• Experience gathering throughput and SLA requirements from business stakeholders.
• Proficient in analyzing Appian logs and system information to diagnose performance issues.
