Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Appian Software Engineer to advance complex Appian solutions, including process models, interfaces, reports, and AI capabilities. You will design APIs, lead integrations via REST/SOAP, and work within Agile teams using CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field or Masters Degree and 6 to 10 years of related experience.
• Experience with Appian design and development.
• Experience with API development and system integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, microservices).
• 5+ years of dedicated Appian design and development with active Senior/Lead Developer certifications.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments, CI/CD pipelines, and Git/GitLab for source control.
• Experience with Appian Data Fabric, data migrations from SQL Server or MariaDB, and developing custom Appian plugins using Java.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Docker, or container orchestration; experience with AWS-hosted or cloud environments; exposure to Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Appian process models, SAIl interfaces, records, reports, and Appian AI capabilities.
• Develop and maintain robust system integrations via REST/SOAP APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate in Agile teams and operate within CI/CD pipelines with Git/GitLab.
• Support Appian platform upgrades, plugin remediation, and modernization initiatives.
• Contribute to data fabric implementation and data migrations from SQL Server or MariaDB.
