Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Senior Appian Developer to support a large-scale, secure enterprise technology environment. This fully remote role focuses on secure application development, systems integration, and business process automation within a federal-grade security context.

The ideal candidate has extensive Appian development experience, architecture, and integration expertise, including REST and SOAP services, with a strong emphasis on secure delivery and performance tuning.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on Appian development experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong experience developing Appian SAIL Forms and workflows.
Experience building and supporting REST and SOAP integrations.
Advanced SQL skills including query development, stored procedures, database design, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

Develop intuitive Appian SAIL forms, interfaces, and dashboards for streamlined UX.
Design and maintain Appian Record Types, CDTs, and data models.
Build end-to-end workflow automation including approvals, notifications, case management, and orchestration.
Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise systems using REST and SOAP web services.
Create secure APIs and service integrations for data exchange across platforms.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Implement OAuth, SAML, and certificate-based authentication.
Support performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
