Job summary

We are seeking a Senior Appian Engineer to design and deliver robust Appian applications, collaborating with product managers, architects, developers, DevOps, and QA to drive enterprise-level solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience with Appian 16.X or higher.
• 2+ years of professional engineering experience with SQL (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB)
• 2+ years of professional engineering experience with Java or another programming language

Responsibilities

• Drive design and implementation of Appian applications for consumer businesses.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, architects, developers, DevOps, and QA to execute SDLC activities.
• Identify risks early, raise concerns, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Identify opportunities for workflow automation across development projects.
• Provide production support and perform root cause analysis on defects.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams on customer-centric banking products or services.
• Build trusted partnerships with product managers, vendors, and external partners.
• Define and break out epics/features while maintaining an overarching view.
• Work in a cross-functional agile team delivering increments of working software.
• Support interviewing pipelines, mentor junior engineers, and share industry trends.
