Job summary

Astor & Sanders Corporation in McLean, VA is seeking an Appian Developer for a full-time remote role. You will work with Federal and commercial clients to re-engineer business processes and translate requirements into BPM code, leveraging Appian Process Models, CDTs, and web service integrations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree, 5+ years of experience with at least 3 years in Appian, and a Senior Appian Developer (L2) certification; AWS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years of hands-on full-stack experience, including at least 3 years in Appian in federal space.
• Senior Appian Developer (L2) Certification is required.
• Combination of Appian Developer, Appian Administrator roles and equivalent experience.
• Agile/SAFe and related certifications with equivalent experience.
• AWS experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Re-engineer business processes for Federal and Commercial clients and translate requirements into BPM code in Appian.
• Collaborate with Agency Business Owner, Product Owner, IT Federal Project Manager, and stakeholders to understand functional and technical requirements.
• Design and develop Appian applications and provide customer demos.
• Implement Appian processes using Process Models, Rules, CDTs, and Web Service Integration.
• Design and implement complex enterprise integrations using industry-standard technologies.
• Contribute to BPM and Case Management practices and share best practices.
