Job summary

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) seeks a Senior Appian Developer to design, build, and deploy applications on the Appian platform, focusing on workflow automation, data fabric, and intuitive UI. The role emphasizes rapid development and cross-functional collaboration in a demanding security environment.

Candidates should have TS/SCI with CI Poly, 1+ year of Appian or similar low-code experience, strong front-end/back-end skills, and familiarity with Agile.

Qualifications

• 13 years of experience in Software or Systems Engineering or related field
• Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience; Master’s for 6 years
• Active TS/SCI with a current CI Polygraph
• Minimum of 1 year of experience developing or configuring applications using Appian or similar low-code/no-code platforms
• Front-end or back-end software development skills
• Familiarity with Agile software delivery methodology
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and multitasking abilities and ability to work across the full lifecycle

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and troubleshoot applications using Appian’s low-code environment
• Design and implement complex business process workflows
• Create data records and connect Appian with external systems
• Design user interfaces for mobile and web
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support/applications
• Translate client requirements into functional Appian solutions
• Participate in Agile software delivery to ensure quality UX and usability
