Job summary

Groundswell is seeking experienced Senior Appian Developer Consultants to provide architecture support for delivery teams and act as trusted advisors to federal clients. You will design and integrate cutting-edge Appian solutions into client architectures and mentor delivery staff.

Candidates must have 3+ years with Appian, 5+ years IT experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and an active Appian Senior/Lead Certification.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Appian solutions.
• 5+ years of related IT experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area.
• Active Appian Senior or Lead Certification.
• Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology.
• Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and written; active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners; analytical and strategic foresight.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task (prioritize and manage), and work both independently and as a team.
• US Citizenship required.
• Preference will be given to candidates local to the DC Metro area.
• Must be willing to travel (0-15%) for client meetings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologies.
• Supports design, development, and test activities.
• Guide clients on architecture design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives as needed to drive technical success.
• Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance.
• Create and document implementation best practices as well as knowledge base articles for internal enablement.
• Provide thought leadership on process improvement.
• Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools.
• Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources.
